“Hello, I’m Suzanne. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I work with children ages 5–12 and adults navigating emotional and behavioral challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, and other life transitions. My goal as a therapist is to create a space where you feel safe, valued, and understood. I strive to help individuals recognize their strengths, develop effective coping skills, and create meaningful change in their lives.
My clinical background includes community behavioral health, school-based therapy and behavioral support, domestic violence group facilitator, recovery court treatment provider, and working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Positive Behavior Support (PBS), the Nurtured Heart Approach, and mindfulness-based interventions. I integrate these approaches with compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique story and lived experience. I believe we all have a story to tell, and our experiences shape how we see ourselves and the world around us.
I view therapy as a collaborative process and believe you are the expert of your own life. You know your experiences, your history, and your story better than anyone else. My role is not to define your journey, but to wal alongside you and provide a safe, supportive, and neutral space where we can explore the experiences that bring you to therapy. Your story belongs to you—it is yours to tell in your own way, in your own time, and in your own words. We will move at a pace that feels right for you.”
