Bio:

“I deeply understand that seeking treatment can feel scary, vulnerable, and incredibly difficult, but taking that first step means you no longer have to carry the weight alone. I am Andrea Mata, a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing therapy in both English and Spanish. With over 12 years of experience, I truly care about your unique situation, and it is my passion to support and walk alongside you through every step of your progress.

I specialize in working with children ages 10 and older, teens, and adults. I offer a compassionate space for those navigating trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem, substance use, emotional regulation, and ADHD, as well as proudly supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I also bring extensive experience to individuals managing anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD).

My primary goal is to provide a warm, deeply secure, and judgment-free environment where you or your child can feel completely safe and comfortable digesting complex thoughts and emotions. I believe that true healing begins when you feel truly heard and cared for. Together, we will untangle these feelings and collaborate on practical, personalized interventions designed to create lasting change, alleviate distressing symptoms, and build a brighter, more fulfilling daily life.”
